In the works…
I am so excited to announce that I am currently represented by the incredibly talented and supportive Lori Galvin of Aevitas Creative Management, who has helped me to rework my formerly self-published novel and place it in the capable hands of editors for consideration. The positive feedback and encouragement from readers has left me feeling very optimistic about the journey through the publishing world and the potential for my work to thrive on the market. Thank you all for your honest and helpful commentary, both online and in person!
In the meantime, I have written another mystery/suspense novel, which is being peer reviewed at this time. I look forward to seeing where the journey takes me and of course attending more events, signings, readings, etc. I cannot adequately express how profoundly my first author event has inspired me; to be around people who understood the joys, frustrations, and overall experience of writing and sharing the work with the world made me feel like I was home! Everyone was so understanding, helpful, kind, and positive. I want to thank the Jesup Memorial Library staff, who are such gracious hosts, as well as the fellow author attendees, who greeted me on sight and made me feel welcome as the newcomer. I have truly found my people, and cannot wait until I can attend future workshops and gatherings with my newly published novel in hand.
Murder By The Book author event
I am very excited to announce that I have been invited to attend a two-day event, Murder By The Book, at the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor in October! Tickets are available for purchase at the library or online for anyone interested in attending the evening wine reception on October 26th. There is also a free day of workshops, book signings, panels, Q&A and more on October 27th, where myself and other authors will be present. I hope to see you there!
